Welcome to Adventure Companion Support.

Adventure Companion by Get Out and Adventuring is designed to help you plan, organise and enjoy your adventures.

If you're experiencing a problem with the app, have a question about a feature, or would like to provide feedback, we're here to help.

When contacting support, please include:

• A brief description of the problem;
• What you were trying to do when the problem occurred;
• Your iPhone model, if relevant;
• Your iOS version, if known;
• Your Adventure Companion app version; and
• Any other information that may help us understand the issue.

Please do not include passwords, payment information or other sensitive personal information in your support request.

Adventure Companion uses Apple location and mapping services for features including nearby searches, destinations, maps and directions.

If location features are not working correctly, check that Adventure Companion has permission to access your location:

Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Adventure Companion

Availability and accuracy of mapping, location, directions and place information may depend on Apple services, your device, GPS availability and internet connectivity.

Adventure Companion allows you to select photos from your device for use with your trips.

If you're having difficulty adding photos, check the photo permissions available to Adventure Companion in your iPhone's Settings.

The current version of Adventure Companion stores your trip information primarily on your device.

This may include your:

• Trips and destinations;
• Trip dates and stops;
• Checklists;
• Notes;
• Journal entries;
• Photos; and
• Other adventure information.

The current version does not provide an Adventure Companion account or cross-device cloud synchronisation service.

Deleting the app or losing, erasing or replacing your device may result in loss of locally stored Adventure Companion data.

Adventure Companion will continue to evolve.

Do not use Adventure Companion as your sole means of navigation, emergency communication or safety information.

Always carry appropriate navigation, communication and safety equipment for your activity and independently verify routes, access, weather, tides, closures and other relevant conditions.

If you are experiencing an emergency, use an appropriate method to contact the relevant emergency services.
